I wonder HOW researchers will ever be able to know how these ancient people really lived...
I have always found it interesting when there is a new discovery found on Earth. It is almost as if it is a big surprise when some sort of fossilized remains are found. While I appreciate space exploration, and its contributions to the growth of technology, I can't help but wonder what sort of social and anthropological advances might be made if we invested more resources into unlocking the unknowns of our planet. Entire civilizations could be (and probably are) buried under the sea. Understanding primitive technology could be the key to developing modern technology.
